You can but it will eventually peel. Use the epoxy kits made for that sold at home depot. Step by step instructions are in the kit. Should last long enough to save up for replacement.
Yes, I've used rustoleum tub&tile. It's a little finicky, but it works. I recommend using extremely light coats and giving more time to dry between coats than they say in the instructions.

RustOleum makes a kit. It should last about 2 -3 years, depending use, and then you will see some peeling.
