If you want to laminate over it with metal-faced “Formica” this can be done at a local cabinet shop for you. It comes in 40+ different metal finishes, including a stainless look, copper look and clear anodized aluminum look and there’s at least 3 brands to choose from.

most of them are very effectively anodized aluminum in whatever “color” you want.

If you want to do this yourself, you’ll have to find a friend who has a router, knows how to use it and buy them a router bit made to cut aluminum.

you can also look at a place like IKEA for a completely new top.

You can also buy thin sheet metal and apply it to a table top, check with a local metal works shop.

If its a low-end solution your looking for, you can buy Rustoleum or Krylone paints in many different metal tones, Rustoleum even has a hammered metal collection. Then add some coats of water-based poly to protect it, or add a glass top.

You could go right over it and just tack it on the sides
