Hi Patricia: What is it made of? You can always paint, stencil or use coloured tape. You can even hot glue decorations on it. If you are going to use terra cotta, you have loads of options. Here are some ideas from other Hometalkers:
Well, Patricia, maybe now is a good time to re-pot them with new soil, and while you're doing that and the plants are out of the containers, you can decorate your pots:) You can put the plants in a plastic tub and they should be o.k. for the short time they are out of their pots. Be sure to scrub the pots so they are clean, and let them dry completely. If you have a floor register for heat, you can put your pots on them to dry:) By the by, if you have drainage holes in the bottom of your pots, before putting in new soil, put a coffee filter in the bottom to cover the hole. This will allow the water to drain while keeping the soil in :) Good luck

I have used decals on pots to decorate them. I have a diy of how I did it on an old tea cup I turned into a planter, but it works on pots as well. Here's a peek. https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2018/04/tea-cup-planter.html
Thank you.
You could paint it or stencil it with fun colors and patterns
Thank you.
