You can do it, just be safe, and make certain you know what you are doing. I also think you should have breaker space, if not then yeah you should get a professional to do it. Too much to walk you through on a write it, honestly.
I have done 240 volt installations and would recommend you research the wire size your tub will need and the breaker brand and amperage. Mine is a 50 amp with #6/3wire/with ground. The GFCI out-door rated box can be purchased on sale at big box stores. Research HOW to pull wire (through trusses or rafters, proper staples, etc) and leave at least 18" outdoors for the GFCI an a few inches BELOW the bottom of the service panel, so the electrician has enough of that fat wire to wrestle with. Some jurisdictions require a permit and in my location, the homeowner can pull it in advance. In a house fire, the insurance company always disputes "cause of fire" and looks for permit records.
Electricity can really go wrong easily, even just running lines if you get the wrong ones. You’ll be far better off having a pro do this so you have the right lines and correct wiring. Burning your house down is bad.
