Can I use stencils on a vinyl floor?

I am going to paint my kitchen floor. Videos I've watched (Leggari) show spritzing isopropyl alcohol on, after the final coat. They use epoxy - I'll be using garage paint. Does anyone know I'd I will I see the same cool finish using latex paint??

No, it's sheet linoleum. Several friends of mine have painter their floors, using garage paint, and 5-6 years later, they're still looking great! Garage paint is for concrete floors. Vinyl moves and flexes with temp changes. May not work or last.
I've done ceramic tile with latex paint (BIN primer first!) and it turned out well. But mine is a fireplace surround, so it doesn't get the same kind of wear that a kitchen floor would. My advice is pick a large pattern for your stencil. I recently did a client's fireplace with a small stencil and it took several days to finish!
