Does oven cleaner strip latex paint from wood?

    I wouldn't try it...it may strip more than the paint. Try using plain water (rubbing really hard) or Windex. Good luck!

    Are you trying to remove paint like to strip It or just remove splatter ?

    If you have a strip of wood like edging or a baseboard that you want to remove latex from, use a small sander. If it’s just some spots, use a barely damp scrubber sponge and some baking soda. You can use latex stripper if you have larger areas. Don’t use oven cleaner on things that are not glass, enamel, solid metal, or otherwise hard to harm. Best wishes, Jewell

    I do a lot furniture striping using regular paint stripper from Home Depot.
