A lot of people love white, Brandilynn, but I've seen some beautiful ones painted grey or blue. Check Pinterest for some inspiration, just be sure to prep your cabinets correctly before painting.

White is always a classic choice: https://thehoneycombhome.com/painting-kitchen-cabinets/
White is the choice of many homeowners these days. Depending on the color of your walls and floors, you could paint the uppers white or a lighter version of a rich lower cabinet color. Clean, scuff sand, prime and paint 2 coats. A final coat of polyurethane will help the paint job last longer. It's a big job, but results are like having a new kitchen.
