Can you give me some ideas for making over my laundry room?

Due to mold damage, unfortunately, I’m going to have to renovate my small laundry room. I have a ruby red washer and dryer, however the dryer sits on top of my washer, (both front loading machines). I have a pull out rack, mounted on the wall for air drying, which saves space. Any ideas now that I have to spruce up my laundry room?

add open shelving or cabinets for storage- buy signs or art work for the walls and paint it a happy color that makes you smile

Please make sure your subfloor doesn’t have mold damage, which leads to wood rot. That’s a lot of heavy load in one spot.

Yes open shelving and “going vertical” with fun colored bins and perhaps a tack board will go a long way.

What a Gr8t idea! A lot of space saving solutions, I used to be a MAJOR DIYER until unfortunately, I became disabled and chronically ill, so there isn’t much I can do when I had the strength. At one point, I even reupholstered my headboard in my bedroom, sewed clothing for my children and was capable of doing anything while raising 4 small children. Times have changed, so the first thing I must do is hire a professional mold removal company, who’ll probably have to remove the tiling and possibly the wall and then I’ll have the space for your unique idea. Thank you so much for your inspiration!Best Wishes,Judi :)

I would do black and white floors, reclaimed wood shelves and accents in a fun color to set off the ruby red washer dryer. Maybe icy blue, baby pink or an apple green.
