Unless you build a cover with a roof and sides, there is really no way that you can prevent snow from falling, blowing, or drifting on to the driveway.

I found this when I googled it. I knew there was a spray you can apply before the snow flies. Magnesium chloride can damage concrete and asphalt surfaces, over time. If you can securely place a cover over your driveway (as the honeycomb home recommended), it will be safer, for long term use.
