  • Hi Shantris - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! • Spray a good amount of vinegar around the faucets and let it sit for a bit. Use an old toothbrush to scrub the area. Rinse with hot water and a rag.

I use an old toothbrush with soft scrub with bleach to get into all those little hard to reach spots.

Mix baking soda with peroxide until you have a loose paste. Smear that over the area. Wait about 1/2 hour then, using a cloth or sponge, wipe the mixture off. This is also a good cleaner for the tub area, sink and toilet.
