I use a chair cover and I love it because when I want to use the chairs they are always ready to go. A quick toss of the cover and they are ready. We bought ours at a home improvement store, but Amazon has them too.

Oh goodness..... I read CHAIRS not STAIRS! I'm sorry, Tariq. Without seeing your front entrance, I would say a canopy built from good quality 4x4 posts and covered with polycarb sheets would work. My sister did this for a carport and it looks really nice and still allows natural light to come through.

Tariq....Use a corn broom instead of a shovel to get snow off...don't use a ice chipper even plastic. If you need to melt ice go with pet-safe chemicals which have the least impact. Corn Brooms can be purchased at Walmart or Amazon, etc. Good luck
