Terry.....I have use bells, ribbon, christmas ornaments, etc. If you are doing small looking for small items you can easily find at Hobby Lobby, Michaels or other craft stores or departments. Enjoy and have fun!

Besides painting, decoupaging, or wrapping the frame with string, (ribbon, yarn) any other suggestions?

Ok - take hot glue in different colors - red, green, gold - make dots of color in different sizes all around the outside.

stick silk flowers - poinsettia or holly - around edge or just in corner

hang a santa hat from a corner

cut hat/beard from foam sheets, stick over people in picture

spray fake snow on it

glue cotton balls on it to look like snowballs

glue mini ornaments on it
