How can I create a uniform look with different metal hardware pieces?
I am a diy'er, a senior, and am remodeling my 32 year old kitchen. I have used antique nickel metal for lights and cabinetry hardware. I needed a new faucet and found exactly what I wanted … a retro yet contemporary style, only 1 available as it is a discontinued style. I purchased it immediately! It is a REAL faucet … brass "guts" but a shiny chrome finish. I have contemplated spraying it to match the other metal finish but would prefer not to do this. How do I integrate this with the other metal finish in the kitchen?

You can mix the metals, just add some more shiny chrome finishes throughout the kitchen for a cohesive look. Decor, appliances, knobs, whatever appeals to you.
Maybe you could add some more shiny chrome items to keep it company.
Mixing metals is perfectly ok, especially since it sounds like you love your faucet. Find a few decorative things that match its finish.
Mixing metals is totally fine just Incorporate those metals in other ways in the kitchen.
I would mix colors in your kitchen, if it is chrome, add chrome accents like coffee canisters to your counter top. I would not paint it. It is your kitchen, mix your metallics and enjoy!
