How do I remove a patch of artificial grass from a small porch?

I would like to know how I can remove an artificial outdoor green rug from a cemented porch? Once it is removed, should I just paint the cemented porch or put something else down?

It is likely glued down. Is there a spot where it’s lifting by chance? Pull it up to remove. Paint or stain the concrete will be a beautiful idea!

You might have some residual glue left behind when you remove it. A scraper might be able to take care of it but you might also need to use some glue stripper if it's really stuck to the concrete. Im sure there's a reason they installed that rug so be prepared for what you might find. Opaque concrete paint can be a good solution if it's a mess under there.
