Add a little ruffle or nice lace or satin all around edges. And also lower rod a bit?
Buy fabric that goes with your decor and either adhere the material by sewing it to the bottom of your curtains or you can buy iron on bands to adhere the fabric on.
Hi Pamela. It all depends on how much longer you need to make your curtains. There's usually some kind of hem, if you can let it out with a seam ripper you can usually gain a few inches. Just iron the folds out and if the edge is ragged you can add a tiny hem with a machine or fabric glue.
If that's not enough, I suggest adding a bit of trim that coordinates with the fabric to the bottom.
You can add a fabric to the bottom.
Change the way they hang if it's not a lot of length needed.
Purchase an contrasting fabric to sew to the bottom. The other option is to undo the hem and use that fabric to extend them a few inches. You can use seam tape along the bottom to secure the new hem with an iron.
add a decorative trim to add length.
