  • It's just the nature of the product. No matter how tightly you screw the lid on, over time it eventually dries up.

Back in the day, many moons ago, I worked as a secretary for a now defunct insurance brokerage firm. We had to use carbon paper, with yellow, pink and white "copies" - and I had bottles of the corresponding liquid paper at my desk. Obviously way before copy machines and computers came into play. Yes, I am that old . . . 🌞

I don't think there is a way to keep it from getting hard. That's why I use wite out instead, but that might not work depending on what you're using liquid paper for.

Don't waste money on wite out liquid; the Wite Out EZ correct tape is so much better. Very thin, accurate & perfect coverage every time. Papermate, BIC and a few others make this in a variety of dispenser sizes; it is a little pricier than liquid wite out but never dries out - it is good forever. It is also buildable it you make a mistake over the original mistake!

Hi Patricia, you can add a few drops of acetone nail polish remover to it.
