How do I hide an electrical cord from a hanging light?

Lisa....You can use a strip of material that after it is sown together it will go over the plug in part and thread it over the cord. Make it twice as long so it will gather. The material can blend with your decor or walls. Good luck

We used plastic cord covers that hide the cord and stick to the wall above our mantel. I believe they can be painted. But here is a post where I found several ideas to hide cords.

Maybe attach a chain and weave the cord through the chain , it won't be as noticeable . Or paint the cord the color of your ceiling . When I used to rent an apartment , I used to paint my cords the color of the walls , they blend in better !
