HI Susan,
Do you have access to this space or are you looking to create some type of closet?
Hi Susan, Her are several ideas I found on =under%7Cautocomplete%7C1&term_meta[]=stairs%7Cautocomplete%7C1&term_meta[]=ideas%7Cautocomplete%7C1]Pinterest.

How about a place for pets?
Hi Susan, we have a curved staircase in our teeny tiny home and created a build in cupboard. Love how much storage space it gave us. You can see all the things we did here - https://acraftymix.com/blog/extra-storage-curved-staircase/
Hi Susan. I was thrilled when we bought our house that our staircase had been opened up on both sides. Even better there were doors to cover the open areas. As a Christmas decorating maniac, I quickly decided that this storage would be used for my Christmas decorations. While working, I collected empty copy paper boxes to house my many decorations. The boxes were all the same size which made stacking them VERY easy. I have a journal that lists the contents of each box. Boxes are all numbered and stacked in numerical order. Now I know which box has the particular item I am looking for. I start stacking them beginning with the largest number and work down to box number 1. I am able to house over 50 boxes under my staircase. And hubby doesn’t have to go up to the attic 50 times to get the boxes down. I can pull the boxes out, use what I want and put them back under the stairs.
Hope this helps you. It surely makes it much easier for me.
