How do I refinish vinyl coated kitchen cabinets?

Are they vinyl, laminate, or Thermofoil? Are they peeling,cracking, or not?

I'm not sure, builders grade white in great condition, no cracking, peeling, etc. I’m just sick and tired of looking at an all white kitchen. I want to carry the mahogany wood floors from the formal dining room through the kitchen and the contrast would not work. The kitchen currently has a white tiled floor. Any suggestions? If we have the cabinet doors refinished we still have the cabinets themselves to do. I don’t want to spend the same amount as a full refinish.

Sounds like they might be laminate. I used a kit by Rust-Oleum called Cabinet Transformations to paint my cabinets. Check to see if it’ll work on that material, I think it does. You can see how I did it here: https://www.flippingtheflip.com/2015/09/kitchen-cabinets-black.html
