Hi! It's Jess from Jessica Welling Interiors! With Thanksgiving coming up, I want to share a quick, super-easy and inexpensive little project that will take your Thanksgiving place settings from "meh" to "WOW!"

First, write the names on your place cards. It's a lot easier to do this before they're attached to the herb bundles. Then start with a few different herbs from the store or non-toxic plant cuttings from the garden. Here, I'm using Dusty Miller and rosemary.

Next, add a few more stems. These are sage leaves I cut from my garden. You can use any plant, as long it's non-toxic.

Tie the string of the gift tag around the bottom of the bundle of herbs, and double-knot it so that it's snug.

Now arrange it on your plate so that the name is facing upward, and you're done! I like to do this project for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Mother's Day, using different foliage and flowers to go with the season. Check out my post for more of these ideas, and for more Thanksgiving table setting ideas!
