Hello Christine,
Use a stainless steel cleaner or maybe Barkeepers friend.
If it's new Windex if it's old and already has swirling use magic eraser. Chances are it's already been scratched.
Hi Christine, if you do this after each use it will make new spills easier to clean

Hi Christine - This is the easiest way to clean stainless steel appliances. It's literally so easy, you will wonder if it's too good to be true, but it does work! Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

Hi Christine, I am OCD about my pots and pans, and I always use lemon oil or orange oil straight from the bottle and baking soda with a supersoft steel wool pad. I've also used the hand cleaner GoJo - it has a little pumice in it (let either sit for a while- 30 min or so but don't let it dry out) this will let the oil/cleaner work its magic).it works on stove tops too.
After cooking, wait until the stove is completely cold to clean up. You can get a lot of stuff off with a dry paper towel while it's still hot, but the water makes it burn in due to thinning out the oil too much.
It isn't not very dirty use vinegar. I have vinegar in a spray bottle and use it to clean my stainless steel fridge and dishwasher. A new stove is the last item on the list.
