How can I remove t11 wood from my shed? Then what should I replace it with to finish it off and be practically maintenance free. My father built this shed years ago and its support system is very sturdy. He was told by specialist that the if there was ever a tornado etc to use the shed. But over the years the t11 siding has deteriated and needs to b replaced. I’m look for affordable and out of the box type of things. Thank you.

Leave the T111 on, I did on a whole house, and put hardi plank, a cement based siding for no maintenence, on for siding. Again, I did this exact thing in 2005 as part of a remodel and addition to my home

It sounds like the thing to do is to re-side it with pressure treated wood since the structure is sound.

Agree the hardy board! Comes in 4 X 8 panels and have a couple patterns, one looks like T11, another like stucco back when we used it on 2000. May have additional choices now.

We reapplied T11 to our deteriorated shed in NJ. It was an easy and economical fix, finding the replacement panels at the home improvement center.

Check the pricing of T11; it may be cheaper than you think. Also check out your local Facebook groups, maybe someone has extra to sell.
