DIY Fall Leaf Wall Hanging

It was time to take down the spiderweb from the mantel and put something new up, so I decided to make myself a new wall hanging. This wall hanging was made with felt, so it's affordable and so cute... plus it's a great way to add color and texture to your home.

I love crafting with felt because it's inexpensive and so easy to use. I started out with a large piece of white felt and picked out some pretty colors for my leaves.

I folded the top of the white felt down with hot glue and made sure it was big enough to slide a wooden dowel through.

Cut leaves out with your felt. I cut out two different kinds and sizes.

I traced a large circle in the center of my wall hanging as a guide.

I added glue to the center of my leaves and started placing them around my circle.

I decided to add a drop of glue in the center of my larger leaves to help them hold their shape a little better.

I added a few pom poms to my wall hanging and trim to the bottom.

I love how this wall hanging looks. The soft felt, makes this wall hanging feel like a sweater for my walls and I love how the bright colors stand out against the white.

This wall hanging also looks great paired up with my color blocked pumpkins and would be great Thanksgiving home décor.
