I love using found material for projects and when I came across these old berry baskets and leaves, though they would be perfect to create a unique Fall wreath.

To make this unique wreath, you will need an old picking basket and some fabric leaves. If your leaves area attached to something, as mine were, snip them so that they are all separate.

Check out another way to incorporate beautiful Fall colours into your home here...

To add some shimmer to the old basket, add a little faux copper foil Spray the basket with spray adhesive, let it sit for a minute and then lay the faux copper foil over it. Once the foil is adhered, rip it away and bits of the foil will stay attached to the basket. To

To allow your basket to hang when it is done, use hot glue to attach a jute rope around the basket. Leave a some extra to hang the basket with.

Fill the basket with floral foam so that you will have something to stick your leaves into when you create your wreath.

Paint some of your fabric leaves with metallic paint and leave some in the Fall colours they were. Once your leaves are dry. Begin sticking them in the foam until you get a nice full look.

Hang your new wreath by the jute cord and enjoy the beautiful vintage basket with pretty Fall metallic leaves.
