Magnets on my refrigerator have left scratches when they were moved by sliding. Stainless appliance cleaner does not remove them. Any suggestions?

    Hi Mary,

One thing that I found out about stainless steel is that it needs to occasionally be oiled to look it's best - just like wood. I don't do it a lot, but when I do, I first make a paste of baking soda and water to thoroughly clean the area. Clean with the "grain" of the stainless steel. Wash off all of the baking soda with water and dry, then polish the stainless steel using circular movements. That should make it sparkle. Wishing you the best.

You can try an 00 grade steel wool and stainless steel polish, but use a very light touch or you'll cause more scratches
