Hi Christina: Are you going to be planting outside or inside? If outside, use a good soil mix. I use Miracle Grow Garden Soil for in ground use. Have it at least 6" deep. Don't crowd the plants, they may look cute when they are small, but they get huge pretty fast and need sun and air flow to flourish. If planting tomatoes or peppers, put the stakes into the ground right after you plant so they will be ready for when the plants get tall. If you are using tomato cages, put them in the ground right after planting the tomato plant. The first ring on the bottom goes right on top of the ground for stability. Also, pinch off the little leafs that grow between the stalk and stem. All they do is stunt the growth of the plant and take the nutrients it needs to grow fruit. Then, be sure you water often and fertilize regularly, follow the directions on the package. This is true for all plants, even house plants:) Good luck

Dig a row or dirt and remove rocks. Plant seeds according to depth and space on package. Cover with dirt. Keep watered.
