Hi there, in my home I found the little terror ant baits work great, just open them and leave them out and all the ants go in them and then you just throw the trap away.
I made a homemade ant killer with borax, sugar and warm water. Soak cotton balls in it and leave them out. The ants will carry it back home and feed the colony the poison.
