Gosh there are too many to describe. Google kitchen valence ideas it get a kichen curtain magazine for ideas.

Whatever you choose, keep in mind that kitchens have cooking grease-laden vapors that land on everything and you’ll want to have it be scrubbable or be ok with replacing it in a couple of years.
