How can I keep grommet-style curtains upright?

Keep grommet style drapes straight at the top of the curtain rod from slumping in.

Michelle: maybe you could weave a pieces of wire into the back of the drapery top.

I think whatever you use would have to be equal to the weight of the grommets. I would try a piece of material used to stiffen fabric. Ask at a fabric store. You could apply this with stitch witchery.

Depending on the weight of the fabric and grommets, I would get some iron-on stiff interfacing.

Hi Michelle: It may be as easy as putting up another rod holder in the centre of the rod or, in the alternative, get a traverse rod and I'd still put up a centre holder. Good luck

Spray starch, set with a iron, also may help keep the top of the panels stiffened.
