If you mirrored the other two walls, the reflections would make the entire space seem larger.

Install floating shelves above the toilet the length of the wall ( you can put your Mic Macs there). Paint the walls the darker color in the tile. Try to minimize the excess in the bathroom. Less is more. Brighten the towels.

Pauline: you may want to paint vertical stripes on the wall... to carry eyes UP.

Then: add a large picture above the toilet. (I, too, have a very small --windowless-- bathroom... so I added a picture of a WINDOW! (see photo). (...I took the photo and got it printed at 50% off at canvas pop.com)

My bathroom is also very small so I know your pain.

From reading, I know some tips to improve the look of a small bathroom. Light colors, lots of lights, & mirrors also bring in light make them

So since your floor is dark, you could cover it with 1-2 light-colored scatter rugs. If you want to change the floor & you don't have an expensive floor like real wood or tiles, you may want to look into vinyl planks as we are.

I like what another person said about a mirror on other wall as a solution but I think a large mirror on wall behind toilet might be nice. The room would look longer when first looking at it. A simple wreath hanging from it would be pretty, even when not a holiday.

I think a larger light, maybe with even more bulbs in it, would be nice above the sink.

The light wall behind the toilet doesn’t break up the paleness. I would paint it a darker colour to make it appear less far away.

Shelves going wall to wall over the toilet will make the room appear wider.Use neutral baskets or white ceramic containers on the shelves along with a small pot of greenery (fake or real). Also keeping your room very monochromatic will open up the bath. Every time the eye lands on a color it stops the eye. Try creams & whites on towels, surfaces, walls, picture frames, and very neutral prints in the frames. Even use white hand soap. In a tiny bath every detail matters. I would mount a frame over the sink that goes all the way down the wall or you could use mirror tiles if the large mirror is too costly.

No to putting any other decor going up in this room. Right now everything seems to be going up and down, like the whole room is in an elevator!

Yes, to putting floating shelves on the wall over the toilet. But make sure that the shelves extend the entire width of the wall to get the full horizontal visual impact of making the room appear wider and larger. Shelves not extending wall to wall will just continue to chop up the wall.

White or light paint works well.
