Candles are one of the most fun DIY crafts that you can do. They are quick, easy and just simply awesome to get started. The best part about making your very own candles is that you can just go wild with your imagination and accordingly customize them

Today am sharing here DIY Homemade Hot Chocolate Candle. These are just so adorable to look at and am sure , they would definitely please any chocolate lover.I have used Glass Teacups for this project. They would make the sweetest home decor or you can make them as gifts for your loved ones.

Christmas is just around the corner. They would be ideal gifts and I do believe that homemade candles always make a great gift.

Lets get started.

Its always advisable to use a vessel with a handle, so that you can pour the wax easily.

Cut the wax into small pieces and put them into your pan.

Use a Double boiler method to melt your wax. Never heat the wax on direct heat. There's always a chance that they might catch fire.

Heat them untill all the pieces of wax are melted.

These are the  tea cups I used . You can make them in any mug or jar of your choice. Just be sure to select a glass one .

Before pouring the wax, clean your cups thoroughly.

For the Brown Chocolate color..... you can use Liquid Dye or  Powder Dye

Take the melted wax in a disposable cup or any other glass and mix in the color dye.

Mix it all with a spoon. At this point you can also add in chocolate scented essential oil.

Then gently pour the wax into the cup.

Insert the candle wick and put in the wick holder in place. I use this metal wick holder. You can also use a toothpick......ice cream stick or bamboo sticks to hold the wicks in place.

Learn how to make a candle wick.

Keep it aside to set. Do not move the cup .

Now , let's make the frosting for the Hot Chocolate Candle.

Use a Piping bag to squeeze the frosting.

Cut the tip of the bag and insert the icing nozzle. Don't worry if you don't have a icing nozzle. You can squeeze out the wax even without using one.

Set it inside a disposable cup. Trust me,this is the easiest and the cleanest way to do it.

Meanwhile, take some melted wax in another disposable cup and mix in white color.

Mix it properly and set it aside to cool down for sometime. Keep it untill it reaches a semi solid state.

Now, use a spoon or a Electric Whisker to whip the wax. Whisk it untill it reaches to a piping consistency.

Put it into the Pipping Bag.

Squeeze a small amount to test it before using it on the candle.

Pipe the whisked wax around the candle wick.

Make sure to cover the wick all around.

Drizzle some Brown Colored wax on it.

Allow it to cool down and trim the wick if needed.

That's all..... Don't they look tempting!!!!!
