Can you give me ideas for building a nativity scene?

    Do you just want the stable...I would just used rough sawed lumber to look more like an open shed.

    If you want to build the “contents” of the nativity scene, there are some options:

    rough carved unfinished wood ones at Michael’s crafts stores

    plaster or bisque ones at crafts stores or at ceramics stores (like Color Me Mine)

    used ones that you re-paint to your liking

    cutting abstract ones out of 1” thick hardwood on a band saw

    Pallets would be a great source of wood. Don't make it too "finished", rustic is better IMHO. Build it with a back, 2 sides, and a top. Leaving the front open for display.
