I always use Systemic Insect killer....granuals that you sprinkle on the soil and water very well. The systemic stuff goes into the soil, up through the roots and any insects eating the leaves will die. Do this about 10 days before bringing in your house plants. I use natural remedies in the garden. First, inspect the plants and spray down with a strong spray of water from your hose to remove anyone hiding there.
