How do I make a DIY laundry detergent?

This is the recipe I use:

2 Bars of Soap (shredded, I use a cheese grater)

2 Cups Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda

2 Cups Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

2 Cups 20 Mule Team Borax

I just mix it all together and then use about a tablespoon per load, works awesome! For fabric softener I use a tablespoon of vinegar in my machine where a normal liquid fabric softener would go.
