You can cut them into very narrow strips (like 1/2") then pull them tightly at both ends. The long ends will "curl". Cut them into shrorter strips (around 4") and lay together. Pinch together in the center and use an additional strip to tie them with a knot. You'll have a little pom-pom. Hot glue to a barrette and you have a cute little bow for little girls.
I used to make these for my daughter when she was small. I made those dresses for her that were t-shirts tops with printed cotton tiered skirts attached. I always had to trim the top of the t-shirt to create a high-waist for the dress and instead of throwing away the bottom of the t-shirts, I made barrettes to perfectly match.
