How come E6000 did not work for what I needed?

    What did you use the E6000 for D? Whether or not it works might depend on what you were gluing together.

    E6000 is not a universal product for rvery thing that needs gluing...a question to consider would be were the surfaces of the glued item clean before you tried to glue it?.

    I used it on an outdoor statue and it did not hold, the heat was too much for it. I ended up using marine glue which worked.

    What do you need to glue together?

  • It doesn't work when it's old, so I've had it fail then.

    It has always worked for me but the drying time is a bit long. Sorry you had a bad experience.

      It sounds like you did it right. Did it rain or was there a lot of dampness in the air? That's all I can think of.
