Is there a DIY solution for getting rid of roaches?

    Hi Kathy, sorry you have roaches. Hope this is helpful. Be sure to keep everything clean and all food put up. Good luck To make a roach killing paste, combine 3-teaspoons of boric acid with 3-teaspoons of sugar and 3-teaspoons of water. Mix the ingredients into a paste. They apply your homemade roach killer in areas where you've spotted roaches.Oct 15, 2019

    They don't like mint or lemongrass.... I use 2 commercial non-toxic insecticides that say they kill roaches..... EcoSmart and EcoLogic, and Victor's. I use for ants and it sure kills them dead. I guess you could get the essential oil and put it in a spray bottle, and shake well before using. But the price for a large can is only $4.

    It isn't DIY but it's fairly cost effective and safe: diatomaceous earth
