How can I upcycle old canvas paintings?

I have a couple of old canvas paintings which are due to be binned! Any ideas for them please? Thank you.

I take it you don't like the paintings or the frames? Do you have any photos to assist with ideas...........
You could always donate them to a charity, or give as a gift to someone who likes them, or sell on, or Upcycle them!!
A Canvas could always be re-used by an artist etc.
Frames can always become something else!

Hi Kathy, If they are water colour paintings (as opposed to oils that have texture) then I love repainting over them to reuse the canvas. You can use a good white paints, apply two- three coats and then you can reuse the canvas for anything you'd like.

I’ve seen them used as an artistic accent sewn on the back of a Jean jacket. If you like the art it might be a one of a kind wearable piece.
