Hi Margaret, when I lived with a small kitchen I ended up storing all of my extras in another room (the garage actually). I did it like this in my head: If I didn't at least use it once a month then it didn't need to be taking up valuable space.

Hello Margaret! Do you have a closet that is close to the kitchen? I added some freestanding shelves to a closet and I store my big kitchen appliances there. I also have freestanding shelves in my basement where I store large appliances that I only use once or twice a year. It keeps them out of my small kitchen and frees up room for everyday things.

We have a cupboard in our basement where we keep all our kitchen overflow items - things that aren’t used daily. Any space you could do this with in your place?

  • Hi Margaret - We have a large kitchen but an awkward layout that does not allow for a lot of storage. Here are some great ideas you can use too. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly

You can purchase a cabinet or baker's rack. If you have closet space, you can move there.
