Vinegar (white) with water 1:1 solution. Spray upholstery and wipe. Or laundry with detergent and vinegar solution.
Put waterproof mattress pad on bed, underpads to chair you use and dignity breaches.

    Hi Shannon,

    Many good ideas from Garfie.

Can you remove the cushions from the sofa? If so can you wash them in the washer, and can you wash the sofa cushion covers? I would start there. If the urine is in the back of the sofa use the 1:1 vinegar water solution, so it does not mildew, use a hairdryer to dry the area quickly.

I also would suggest having a box of baking soda to help absorb and lingering odors.

Another suggestion is to reduce your liquids before bedtime, if your doctor would approve.

    Best to you.

Hi ! Get an enzyme cleaner from a pet store , it eats and removes natural substance s like urine , feces , blood & vomit . You can buy sheet protectors from a medical supply store , these are not large , they are meant to be used under your bottom area , just for this purpose they make washable ones and disposable ones . The disposable ones are sort of like doggie led pads ( which might be a cheaper solution)

Or you can buy plastic tablecloths from the dollar cut them into a few pieces and place a towel over a section . For your wash , use a pre soak , if you have that option , and add some white vinegar and some baking soda to it , then wash with your regular detergent . Please don't take offense to the options from the pet store !!! I used the enzyme cleaner on my chair after my granddaughter had an accident . And as for the dog pee pads , I know medical supplies can be very expensive , it might be a more affordable way to go . Good luck !

I used this on people urine and vomit: Nature's Miracle Original found at PetSmart and PetCo sprayed on stains, then soak it up with rags. Let dry. After it is thoroughly dry, and you might need to do it twice, cover the sofa with a plastic shower curtain that you can take off when guests come over.
