I use fingernail polish to decorate ugly metal jewelry. Some of the things that I use it on are silver plated dragon charms that I buy at Michael's Craft store. I like dragons, but can never find earrings. So I paint pairs of them with fingernail polish to match my outfits then hang them on earring findings that I also get at Michael's. I have also made pendants this way from some bigger dragon pendants that they sell.

Draw a picture with a sharpie then paint it with polish if you mess up wipe it off quickly with paper towel or nail polish remover
