    ”sheet metal” is a very Broad term. Are you talking mild steel? Are you talking aluminum?.

    If the methods that Peggy described above, aren’t enough, then you need to get at least a saber saw, with metal cutting blades.

    A jigsaw with a metal cutting blade might be the easiest and fastest way to go. You can get a base model for under $30 if you don’t have one or don’t have a family member or friend to borrow one from. If you do a fair amount of work it would also be a nice addition to your tools.
