I LOVE stenciling!!! Here are some posts on how to stencil! The main trick is to off load your paint brush. Minimal paint to prevent bleed through and to dab instead of brush strokes with your stencil brush! :)

I found the best way to prevent bleed through for me was to "paint" over the stencil first with a clear sealant and wait for that to dry first before filling in the stencil.
