Hometalk sent me a set of 4, 28” hairpin furniture legs! I am so so excited to finally have an office desk. This is such a simple solution!! You only need 2 materials for the desk, plus your painting supplies. Take a read to see how.

  • Pre-Fab wood board (vary in sizes) from RONA
  • CHOICE of stain colour
  • cheap dollar store paint brush

Sand your board and edges to touch

I initially started with an antique walnut poly shade, which I liked but gave it a bit too much of an orange shade, and was also hard to thin out each coat of stain.

hard to exactly tell but it was a bit more orange

I ended of sanding as much of the stain off as I could, and added this walnut, water base stain I had bought for a different project that i didn’t end up using. And it worked great!!👌

These hair pin legs were so easy to assembly and were very good quality. From amazon

Makes for a very cute piece in my bedroom! Something so versatile and simple to create.

I am just so in love about how practice this simple and cheap desk is!

I’ll definitely be making more tables with these legs and this boards 😊😊 check out my Instagram and website for more projects!
