How to Make Christmas Ornament Signs
I make these every year for Christmas and give them as gifts and they are a huge hit.
This year I made a couple for myself and wanted to share the how to.
The best thing about this project is that it's custom so you can literally write anything on them.
This is something that won't break the bank. Which is a huge plus during Christmas time.
The little wooden squares are at Michael's and they are 5x3"
You will also need white chalk paint, burlap string, paint pen, and wood stain
I'm a sucker for lighter wood finishes so I went with golden oak
*Note: don't stain the center of the frame
Once you finish staining your ornaments, I painted the center with white chalk paint.
Then once that dries you can write your quote in the center. I free handed mine, vinyl would also work.
And finally you drill holes on top of the frame to put the burlap string through it.
tie a knot once the string is through. I used crazy glue to keep the burlap string from moving around.
And your all done 😊 you can also add bows or Garland to these. But I'm a fan of simplicity, so I will keep them a is.
