Easy to make, sleek and simple diy vase that will cost you dollars to make. Wrapped in leather and filled with flowers these vases will easily mix into your decor.

My home is pretty much all done and decorated for spring. I love this time of year because everything is coming back to life, even my home decor. A couple weeks back, I shared  my spring decor and this DIY vase stood on my coffee table. The natural vibe of this vase is so me and it really mixes well with the colors of spring.

Believe me when I say, this will be the easiest DIY vase you ever make.

If you are still looking for a few more additions to your spring home decor, check out my  spring home decor favorites for some real gems.

This spring I feel especially alive and ready to update my home. It has been a spring cleaning and redoing month around my house and I just can’t stop. Cant stop, won’t stop! When this kind of mood strikes me I go into full on sale shopping and do it yourself mode. I am never one to spend a lot on my home decor, unless of course it’s that perfect piece I just can’t live without so diy options are my savior.

This diy all started when I was roaming the aisles of my local craft store. I spotted a simple vase with a thick piece of leather wrapped around it. It was so simple yet striking and I had to have it. As I was reaching to put it in my basket, it occurred to me that I could make something similar on a dime. I quickly scooted my cart to the fabrics section and picked out some leather strips. Next, I went across the street to the dollar tree (yes my local craft store is across the street from the dollar tree and yes it is trouble) and bought a couple $1 vases. Back to my house and I made this vase in minutes.

Start by wrapping the leather around once and secure it by tucking it through as if you are beginning to tie a bow.

Wrap the leather around the vase until you reach your desired coverage.

If you like a uniform look, neatly wrap the leather around the vase. Don’t be afraid to be a little crazy with it though. Overlap the leather and angle it up and down. Make it unique!

Once you have wrapped the leather until the vase is about halfway covered, secure it the same way you did at the beginning. You are done! Can you believe how easy that was!?

Just so straight forward classic and simple. Also great statisfation. I live when things come together in five or so minutes and very cheap to make. Very nice. Thank you for sharing.
