Glass Candle Holder Snowman
I love thrift store and seeing what I can make out of things. I had found this amazing glass hat and knew I just needed to create a snowman for it.
I bought 3 glass candle holders and 1 glass hat at a thrift store. I used E6000 as my glue.
Placed one candle holder upside down as the base. I put E6000 on the top of the 2nd candle holder and placed it on top of the upside down candle holder.
I put E6000 on the bottom of the hat and placed it on the 3rd candle holder which would become the head.
I let both pieces rest so the glue would adhere before moving on.
I put E6000 on top of the middle candle holder and placed the head on the top.
I let the piece dry completely and LOVE him.
I added a color changing LED light under the upside down bottom candle holder so he lights up in the evenings.

I love that you didn't proceed to destroy such crystal clear loveliness with white paint. If you can't find a hat, maybe you can find a bobeche (the round glass disc with a candle-sized hole in the middle, found at the base of a candle to catch wax drippings) if you can find one big enough, and use a small crystal goblet for the top of the hat. Anyway, beautiful creation!

So cute! Where do you find the hat ?
That’s so darn adorable! It will definitely be on my to do list for next Christmas! I’ll have all year to search for what I need. You don’t see those hats in the thrift store very often. I’m not sure what they are actually for, maybe tooth picks?
Merry Christmas and thanks for your share!
I thought the "hat", was a decanter stopper...??
I try to be positive and not post negative comments because I LOVE Hometalk and the videos. But what's with these constant ads interrupting the videos all the way through?! Talk about frustrating!!! Wouldn't purchase any of their products because they are so annoying. I know sponsors are necessary to pay for the site. However, it's bad enough they are all over the screen, yet this constant video interruption is extremely nerve grating. Anyone else finding this to be the case?
