Here is what I did with a swing - but you could do this with a chair too: https://happydealhappyday.com/fix-broken-canvas-porch-swing/
What type of material is the webbing on the deck chair made out of?
How is it attached to the frame?
A picture of your chair would help illustrate the situation.
Hi Barbara,
When I did this project, all I had to do was turn the piece over and unscrew the screws holding in the webbing. Cut new pieces from the length of the bad webbing, put the screws back into the frame pushing them through the new webbing. The weave pattern is simple. Best to you. You can get new webbing at diy stores and of course Amazon.
Barbara...Can you send a picture please?
