If you have a little spray foam and a large enough hole, you could fill it with spray foam. then cut and sand it back to level.
Or if it is a small hole, just put command hooks over it.
Ifva good size it is very difficult. It will always look patched. The good news those doors are very cheep. It may be best to replace.
