Not if they are working and in good condition.
I never have. Usually they only need to be reattached if loose, or just cleaned and lubricated.
Hi Dakota. I'm Cindy. If the runners are in good working order, you do not need to replace the runners. I have heard of putting wax on them for a smooth pull.
Thank you Cindy they are slanteď wood runners and the drawers also have to put slats of wood under each drawer in order for them not to bog down when clothes are put in them or they wont open
